Public Library Grant Program
Enacted in 1999, this program authorizes the Authority to issue up to $45 million in State-supported bond financing to provide grants to public libraries for new construction, expansion, rehabilitation and/or acquisition projects. On December 5, 2002 the Authority issued its bonds in an amount of $45 million and 68 public libraries are the beneficiaries of this grant program.
